At Curate My Plate, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding refunds and cancellations for our subscription plans.
1. Subscription Overview
Curate My Plate offers the following subscription plans:
- Free Plan: No charges apply
- Basic Plan: $5 per month, billed monthly
- Advanced Plan: $10 per month, billed monthly
2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers.
If you're not satisfied with our service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription. This guarantee applies only to:
- Your first subscription to either the Basic or Advanced plan
- Requests made within 7 calendar days of the initial charge
- Accounts in good standing (no Terms of Service violations)
3. Refund Eligibility
Eligible for Refund
- First-time subscriptions within 7 days of initial payment
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Service outages lasting more than 48 consecutive hours
- Technical issues that prevent you from using the service, if unresolved after working with support
Not Eligible for Refund
- Renewal payments after the initial 7-day period
- Partial month refunds (prorated refunds are not available)
- Change of mind after the 7-day guarantee period
- Account terminations due to Terms of Service violations
- Credits or generations that have been consumed
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact Support: Email us at support@curatemyplate.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line
- Provide Details: Include your account email, subscription plan, and reason for the refund request
- Wait for Review: We will review your request within 2-3 business days
- Receive Decision: You will be notified via email of our decision
- Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and will appear on your original payment method
Note: Refund requests submitted after the 7-day guarantee period will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Cancellation can be done through your account settings
- Your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period
- No refund will be issued for the remaining time in your billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan at the end of the billing period
Important: Cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund. To request a refund within the 7-day guarantee period, you must follow the refund request process outlined above.
6. Billing Errors and Disputes
If you believe there has been a billing error:
- Contact us immediately at billing@curatemyplate.com
- Provide details of the suspected error including transaction date and amount
- We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
- If an error is confirmed, we will issue a refund or credit within 10 business days
7. Free Plan and Credits
The Free plan includes limited credits for AI-powered features:
- Credits are provided free of charge and have no monetary value
- Unused credits do not carry over between months
- Credits cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred
- We reserve the right to modify credit allocations at any time
8. Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending resolution
- We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination
- We reserve the right to dispute illegitimate chargebacks
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
